Healthy Tan is an airbrush tanning system using a product that looks like water. After 3 hours after the application, a golden tan develops. It works by DHA reacting with the amino acids in the outer layer of the skin. The reaction looks natural as if it came from the sun. Lasting 3 to 10 days for most people. It depends on your own skin and how you care for it following a tanning session. Healthy Tan produces colour on the outermost layer of the skin, and that layer is being discarded, cell by cell. As these cells are discarded your tan fades. Long baths, hot tubs and swimming pools with chlorine will cause your tan to be short lived.
